Patricia Kyes
Senior Interior Designer

Born and educated in Europe, interior design has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even as a young girl, I remember often rearranging the furniture in our home. At the beginning of this habit, my parents scolded me. But my impulse was greater than the punishment and I eventually came up with arrangements they liked better than the original way rooms were designed because they simply made more sense and were aesthetically more appealing to the senses.

Because of this developing talent, as a young woman, family and friends would often ask my advice and take me with them whenever they went shopping for new furnishings. It was then that I knew my calling, and I have made it my career since 1974 when I graduated with honors from Parsons School of Design in New York, which is one of the top universities in the country for interior design.

Throughout my career, I have played an active role in charity and volunteer work, such as Design House Tours in the Sacramento and Bay Area, and other charitable activities. Because of my education and European background, I have a thorough understanding of our American and European heritage. I have enjoyed employment with some of the most prestigious interior studios in Northern California. As a result, I have cultivated a client base that includes well-known sports figures and important personalities from the Greater Sacramento and Bay Areas. With great pleasure, I look forward to assisting you with your home.
