Amanda knew she wanted to explore the interior design field when she began writing her high school senior project paper on the theory of color and how it affects the mood. She realized that she wanted to create environments for people that gave them an emotion, whether it be calming or energetic. Amanda attended American River College and then also added to her education by completing an online study program.

Amanda began her career in custom window treatments and then worked as a project coordinator and design assistant at Western Contract Furnishers. In 2003, Amanda made the transition to an
independent interior designer. Operating her own business for four years working on multiple full scale design projects including new home construction and remodel specification. She
also performed many color consulting and window treatment design projects. Amanda also dabbled in floral and event design and faux painting. Amanda decided in the beginning of 2008, to
begin a new adventure in her career and join the Design Galleria team. She is excited about working with the extended resources Design Galleria has to offer to her clients.
